LLMs.txt Generator

Terms of Service

Effective 18 September 2026 · Last updated 18 September 2026

The website txtllms.com and the LLMs.txt Generator offered on it (together, the "Service") are operated by Garvit Malhan, an individual trading as txtllms.com ("we", "us", "our").

2. Acceptance

By using the Service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it. If you are using the Service for an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind that organisation, and "you" means both you and it.

3. What the service does

The Service generates an llms.txt file for a website domain you submit. It reads publicly accessible pages of that domain and produces a file following the llms.txt specification, which you can then publish on your own site.

The Service is currently provided free of charge. We also operate an optional email newsletter and offer optional consultation calls.

We do not control AI crawlers. An llms.txt file is a published convention, not an enforcement mechanism. Whether any AI system reads, respects or ignores the file is entirely up to that system's operator. Nothing in the Service prevents a crawler from accessing your content, and we make no promise that publishing the file will change any AI system's behaviour.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent where you live if that is higher, to use the Service.

5. Your obligations

When you submit a domain to the generator, you confirm that:

  1. you own that domain or are authorised by its owner to have it analysed;
  2. the email address you provide is yours, or you are authorised to use it;
  3. having us fetch pages from that domain breaks no law, contract or site terms that apply to it; and
  4. the domain does not host unlawful material.

You are responsible for reviewing any generated file before you publish it, and for what happens once you do.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

We may reject, rate-limit or block any request at our discretion.

7. The generated file

Output is produced automatically from whatever the Service can read on your site at that moment. It may be incomplete, out of date or wrong. Check it before publishing. We do not review generated files, and we are not responsible for the consequences of publishing one.

As between you and us, the generated file is yours. You may use, modify and publish it freely, including commercially. We claim no rights over it and charge no licence fee.

8. Intellectual property

The Service itself - the site, its design, text, logos and underlying software - belongs to us or our licensors, and is protected by intellectual property law. These terms give you no right to copy, adapt or redistribute it beyond ordinary use of the Service.

Content on any domain you submit remains yours or its owner's. We claim no rights over it and use it only to produce your file.

"llms.txt" refers to an open specification published at llmstxt.org. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting for the authors of that specification, nor for any third-party directory of llms.txt files.

9. Newsletter

Subscribing is optional and separate from using the generator. Every message includes an unsubscribe link that takes effect immediately. See the Privacy Policy for how we handle your address.

10. Consultations

We may offer a free consultation call booked through a third-party scheduling service. Any consultation is general information, not professional advice, and creates no advisory relationship. We give no guarantee of any search, traffic, ranking or revenue outcome, and you act on anything discussed at your own risk. Booking is subject to the scheduling provider's own terms.

11. Third-party links

The Service links to sites we do not control, including the llms.txt specification, third-party directories, scheduling tools and social profiles. We are not responsible for their content, availability, or how they handle your data. Links are not endorsements.

12. Availability and changes

The Service is provided on an "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uptime, and we may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it - including the free tier - at any time, without liability to you. We will give reasonable notice of a permanent shutdown where we practically can.

13. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent the law allows, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free, that generated files will be accurate or complete, or that publishing one will produce any particular result with any AI system, search engine or crawler.

Nothing here excludes any warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded, including consumer rights you may have under the law of your country of residence.

14. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, nor for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, traffic or business opportunity, however caused, even if we were told such damage was possible.

Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the total amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) USD 100. Because the Service is currently free, this will usually be (b).

We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

15. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and reasonable legal costs arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the Service, or your submission of a domain you had no right to submit.

16. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if you breach these terms or if we reasonably suspect misuse. You may stop using the Service at any time. Sections 7 to 8 and 13 to 19 survive termination.

17. Privacy

Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

18. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the Service changes. The "last updated" date above always reflects the current version. Material changes will be notified on the Service before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the revised terms.

19. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes arising out of or in connection with them are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, India.

If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory rules, or of the right to bring proceedings in the courts, of your country of residence.

20. Contact

If any provision of these terms is held unenforceable, the rest remains in force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These terms are the entire agreement between us regarding the Service.
